I've recently gotten back into reading, and have been trying to read at least a little bit every day. I always feel a sense of accomplishment after I finish a book, since I get so much more out of them than most other things these days. I really enjoy books based on true stories, inspirational books, and sometimes technical books. I mostly read books that have been recommended to me, so I thought I'd post my reading list here for you all to peruse. If you have any recommendations, please leave a comment!

wow, you can read two books at the same time? I wouldn't know which one to pick up each night. I enjoy reading but find myself too addicted to online video and movies. One of these days when the internet is no more I shall pick up that awesome habit.

nice, i've heard good things about c.s. lewis' stuff. i just finished wild swans by jung chang, a great personal history of china through three generations of women. particularly interesting with china in the spotlight with the olympics... i'm currently reading infidel by ayaam hirsi ali, a pretty intense autobiography...

I almost bought The Drunkard's Walk today! I think I will read it next, but am trying to start checking books out of the library instead of buying them. The library will be a test as to whether or not they are purchase worthy. Anyway, Linds, you will be intrigued-- I am reading The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own. Truly surprising isn't it? Ha. I'm reading your blog! Aren't you proud? And tell Matt I loved his handwritten notes. They remind me of the notes Lisa used to take in high school with all the little illustrations, except Lisa's featured a lot more animals.

Thanks so much for the suggestions!
Clintus - I try to read more than one at the same time, but usually when I start the second one I read it through before I get back to the first. :)
Jonatas - I have been trying to read at least a little bit each evening, but it really depends on how the day goes.
I've also just added Hot Water Music and Factotum by Charles Bukowski to my to-read list as they were recommended to me by my cousin.
